Conference Sessions

ICAS 13 academic sessions will take place at Campus B and/or C of Universitas Airlangga. Campus B and C are a 1-hour drive away from the Juanda International Airport, Surabaya, and a 20-minute drive from the Tunjungan area. 

Festival Sessions

The festival sessions will take place at various locations in Surabaya. More information about the festival sessions will follow shortly.

Visa Application

Electronic Visa-on-Arrival

For nationals of a large number of countries it is possible to apply for an electronic visa on arrival (e-VOA) to visit Indonesia for tourism, government visits, business talks and meetings, purchasing goods, meetings, and transit purposes. Please see the country list on this page to check whether you can apply for an e-VOA. For more information about the procedure, required documents and e-VOA application, please visit https://molina.imigrasi.go.id/. 

Visa Application

If you are not eligible to apply for an e-VOA, please contact the visa services at the Embassy or Consulate of the Republic of Indonesia in your country. We recommend you apply for the visa well in advance and at least one month before departure. The local organiser, Universitas Airlangga, can provide visa letters and support for your visa application. Please send an email to immigration@global.unair.ac.id, at least two months before your departure date, with the following documents:

1. scan of your passport bio page
2. scan of your passport cover
3. scan of your passport photo
4. your flight ticket
5. your ICAS 13 acceptance letter

Electronic Customs Declaration

Before you arrive in Indonesia, it is recommended that you fill out the Electronic Custom Declaration Form (https://ecd.beacukai.go.id/) in advance. You would need internet connection to fill the form. Therefore, it would be safest if you fill out the form before you depart from your home country, and save/screenshot the QR Code that you obtain after filling out the form. The QR Code will be required to be scanned at the customs checkpoint after collecting your luggage, before leaving the airport.
