ICAS 12 - Crafting a Global Future

The 12th International Convention of Asia Scholars (ICAS 12) will be held in the cultural heart of Japan, Kyoto from 24-27 August 2021. The city is famous for its world-heritage sites, temples, gardens, palaces and craft centres. The main venue, the iconic, modernist Kyoto International Conference Center, is set in a beautiful garden.

 

ICAS 12 – Crafting a Global Future

Kyoto Seika University (SEIKA) will be the main host of ICAS 12, partnering with the city, the consortium of 48 universities and museums. Founded in 1968, SEIKA’s campus offers advanced facilities in a wonderful, natural setting. Delivering programmes to more than 3,500 students across five faculties – Art, Design, Manga, Popular Culture and Humanities – SEIKA promotes a spirit of independence and freedom through progressive, liberal and humanistic education.
