ICAS 13 Grant Application

ICAS 13 participants are expected to fund their own transportation, accommodation, registration fee and other expenses and are therefore strongly encouraged to start funding applications in time.

ICAS has a travel fund available for a limited number of participants and will provide selected grantees with a (partial) travel grant. It is therefore strongly advisable to apply for funding elsewhere as well.

If you would like to be considered for a grant, please submit the grant form stating the motivation for your request. Please explain why participating in ICAS 13 is important to you and why you feel you should be selected for a grant. Please also outline the reasons why you need a grant.

The following eligibility criteria apply:

  • ICAS 13 grants are exclusively reserved for selected PhD students or early career scholars (PhD degree obtained after 1 January 2021); and for artists, artisans, and craftspersons who do not hold a PhD degree.

  • The grant applicant should have an active role (convenor, chair, discussant, presenter or contributor to an exhibition, workshop, activity or new format, including Documentary/Film producer and director) in an accepted submission for ICAS 13.

Application Deadline: 21 February 2024, currently only available for Documentary/Film Producers and Directors

If you are eligible according to the above criteria, please fill in the form below. More questions will follow when you start filling in the form.
