Shuttle bus schedule
Transport will be arranged for pre-registration, before the first panel sessions and after the last sessions, between the conference venue and selected hotels. Please download the shuttle bus schedule here.

If you would like to travel to the venue at different times or from/to different locatoins, please arrange your own transport (e.g.taxi, uber).

Travelling to Tanzania
The conference will take place in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Tanzania is easily reached via frequent air connections to Dar es Salaam airport, Julius Nyerere International Airport.

Travelling to your accommodation
Most hotels offer an airport transfer service at a fee or sometimes complementary. Please contact your hotel for further information.

If you have not arranged your airport transfer, please contact the Taxi Rank at the airport to arrange a taxi to your accommdation, and avoid negotiations with freelance taxi drivers. A taxi from Dar es Salaam International airport to central Dar es Salaam will cost around US$ 25-35. 

There will be a conference desk in the airport arrival hall on 19 September. If you have any queries or need assistance, please approach the conference staff at the desk.

Shuttle bus transportation to/from venue
Transport will be arranged between the venue and selected locations. The shuttle bus schedule will be available soon.

If you are staying in other accommodation or you would like to travel to the venue at different times, please arrange your own transport (taxi) to the venue.

Travel insurance
Before travelling, you are strongly recommended to obtain comprehensive travel insurance which will cover all overseas medical costs, including medical repatriation/evacuation, repatriation of remains and legal costs.

Health
A yellow fever vaccination is required for travellers 1 year of age and older coming from – or who are in airport transit for more than 12 hours within – a country with risk of Yellow Fever transmission.

Certain vaccinations are recommended for Tanzania. Please check with your health center which vaccinations you should take.

Money
There are several ATM's in Dar es Salaam to withdraw money. Also in the arrival's hall of the international airport you will find ATMs in the righthand corner. For more information see also Money and Costs in Tanzania
