Voting lines are now open for the ICAS Book Prize 2019 Colleagues’ Choice Awards! Cast your vote here
The ICAS Book Prize (IBP), established in 2004, creates an international focus for academic publications on Asia, thereby increasing their worldwide visibility. The biennial IBP is awarded for outstanding English-language works and dissertations on Asia, and has always been organised around broad interdisciplinary bases (Social Sciences and Humanities) rather than traditional geographic or disciplinary compartmentalisations.
The Colleagues' Choice Award is determined by the authors’ peers, who cast their votes online through the IBP Polling Booth, which is now open and waiting for your vote.
The ICAS Book Prize 2019 – English Language Shortlists will be announced mid-April; the shortlists for the other language editions (Chinese, French, German, Korean, Spanish/Portuguese) will follow shortly thereafter.
All winners will be presented their awards during the ICAS 11 opening ceremony in Leiden, on Tuesday 16 July 2019. We hope you will join us there.
